Brother Tommaso's Extraordinary Steamed Vegetables
Carrots
1 lb. of Fresh Heirloom Carrots
1 Tbs. soy sauce or Liquid Aminos
2 Tbs. Brown sugar
2 Tbs. Brother Tommaso’s Better Recipe Garlic Butter
1: Place 1 lb. of cut Fresh Heirloom Carrots, washed and drained in a covered Microwavable serving dish.
2: Microwave for 8 minutes on high setting
3: Remove from Microwave and toss with soy sauce, brown sugar and BT'sBR Garlic Butter
4: Return to Microwave for 2 minute.
5: Remove and let stand for 10 Minutes.
6: Toss again and serve warm.
7: Savor the flavors.
Green Beans
1 lb. of Fresh Green Beans
1 Tbs. soy sauce or Liquid Aminos
2 Tbs. Brother Tommaso’s Better Recipe Garlic Butter
1: Place 1 lb. of Fresh Green Beans, washed and drained in a covered Microwavable serving dish.
2: Microwave for 6 minutes on high setting
3: Remove from Microwave and toss with soy sauce and BT'sBR Garlic Butter
4: Return to Microwave for 1 minute.
5: Remove and let stand for 10 Minutes.
6: Toss again and serve warm.
7: Hold on to your hats.
Broccoli or Asparagus
1 lb. of Broccoli Crowns or Asparagus Spears
1 Tbs. soy sauce or Liquid Aminos
2 Tbs. Brother Tommaso’s Better Recipe Garlic Butter
1: Place 1 lb. of Veggies, washed and drained in a covered Microwavable serving dish.
2: Microwave for 4 minutes on high setting
3: Remove from Microwave and toss with soy sauce, and BT'sBR Garlic Butter
4: Return to Microwave for 1 minute.
5: Remove and let stand for 10 Minutes.
6: Toss again and serve warm.
7: Try not to smile too broadly
Red, White and Blue Potatoes
1.5 lb. of Von's Red, White and Blue Potatoes (one mesh bag)
2 Tbs. Brother Tommaso’s Better Recipe Garlic Butter
2 1/3 Tbs. sea salt
1: Place mesh bag of potatoes, washed and drained, in a 4 qt. pot with just enough water to cover over potatoes.
2: Add 2 Tbs of sea salt
3: Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook at lower heat (to prevent boiling over) until potatoes are soft enough to pierce with a fork.
4: Remove from heat, and drain water.
5: Toss with BT'sBR Garlic Butter and 1 tbsp sea salt
5: Let stand for 10 Minutes.
6: Toss again (lightly mash the potatoes if desired) and serve warm.
